Occupy Madrid
In 2019, a group of approximately one hundred people camped in front of the Ministry of Health in Madrid, Spain, to lobby in favour of social housing for the disenfranchised. Their tents occupied the median between the referred ministry and the Prado Museum. After a period of five and a half months the authorities expelled the activists and dismantled their campsite. This did not deter them, as the lobby group continued to promote their cause in front of City Hall. This group of activists is known as Movimiento Nadie Sin Hogar. The below drawings are a graphic record of their activity during 2019 in Madrid, Spain.
